Pinterest Challenge

I've become an addict...addicted to blogging and Pinterest, and I know that I'm not the only one! This post was inspired by this funny definition of Pinterest posted by a fellow Facebooker.  I began thinking...is this so?  NOT IN MY HOUSE!  I have re-created tons of Pinterest posts without actually even thinking about it.

So here's my new challenge...At least once a week re-create at least one Pinterest post, whether it's a cute outfit I can actually afford and fit into, home decor I can only afford because I decided to DIY it, recipes that are quick and easy that I'm not too lazy to make, post sayings that I am clever enough to think of--even if I am the only one who considers them to be clever, and take photos of my precious family that makes my heart melt!

Here my newest Pinterest re-creation...

These babies run anywhere from $19 to $50 a piece on Etsy..I don't think so!!  I pulled up PicMonkey and went to work and created my own for FREE.  I did however spend $5.44 to have them printed on high quality paper at a local Kinkos.

Put your Pinterest boards to work!  What have you created that was inspired by Pinterest?

  5. Yours turned out awesome! I love Pinterest and I think our holidays have gotten much better since I found it, lol. I've made tons of recipes and crafts from there especially for the holidays and for my kids. I love your "I don't think so", that was so funny. Before I started my site I asked my husband why are the etsy ppl selling their prints for so much? Once it's made they just print it out, unlike a handmade dress or something. So now I offer free stuff on my site and I hope it's worth the price:) Feel free to stop by and link up: http://printabelle.com/?p=4165

  6. These are adorable... I do Etsy knock offs all the time. I wish I had enough money to always support fellow Etsians, but sometimes it's just not feasible.

I'd love it if you'd link up with me at Off the Hook!

    1. I used Picnik for these...which is so much easier to use! In PicMonkey you need to use a white background....which you can google and save it as a jpeg, that way you can insert your verbiage ontop of the white background. Let me know if this helps!

  11. Thanks so much for linking this idea up on Naptime Delights. I'm going to feature them! And... I love the title... I make free printables, and pretty much everything I make is an Etsy Knock-off :D
